Kids’ branches on the sites of Murom Museum of History and Art and the Cooperation of the Low Oka Museums
The slow informatization of the cultural sphere raises a definite enstrangement of the youth from the cultural values and historical heritage of the region.
The present day web resources of the cultural establishments are characterized by excessively dry, too scientific and trivial information, while the modern user, first of all children and youth, gives preference to the dynamic, game forms of mastering the information flows. The classical idea of museum as a storehouse for antiquities is too boring for the youth. To overcome this tendency the systematic work has been conducted in Murom Museum of History and Art. There are definite perspectives.
n on the site of Murom Museum of History and Art www.museum.murom.ru the electronic version of the textbook «Murom History from the Ancient Times till Nowadays» has been placed
n on the site of the cooperation of the Lower Oka Museums www.oklandia.murom. ru some web sites were created by the kids - participants of the projects «Under Defense of Childhood 2001» and «Under Defense of Childhood 2002»
n The creation of the computer game «Routes of War and Peace» in the kvest format has been planned (under condition of grant support), which will help the young users to learn about the cultural heritage of the region between Moscow and Kazan in the game form.
n The project «Internet-cooperation of the Lower Oka Museums» is being realized under support of the CAF fund and Academic Science Society «Megaproject» which permits to organize a single information network of provincial towns, situated in Vladimir and Nizhny Novgorod regions.
n Further perspectives.
