Abstracts:

In the report the opportunity of the organization of access to information resources on a cultural heritage is discussed according to international profile CIMI (Computer Interchange of Museum Information) under protocol Z39.50. The Profile gives specifications for search and retrieval of the information from diverse information resources about a cultural heritage. These resources can contain in one or more databases accessible through one or more CIMI-server, supporting this Profile or other realizations Z39.50. The user can carry out search in these databases for extraction of digital representations of the museum information, such as records of objects or images with the coherent text. The information systems organized on the basis of servers Z39.50 with use of the present Profile, become independent of concrete systems of a data storage and, hence, can be integrated with other similar systems.
