Abstracts:

Main goal of the project is to represent information about Museum’s collection through printing of reproductions of high quality. Reproductions present main artifacts of Museum’s collection and serve as illustrations in educational process at schools.

Main tasks of the project are to establish long-term communications between the Museum and rural regions, to eliminate the barriers to audience access to information about Museum’s collection.

The project is a bright example of collaboration of three key organisations, which are united by common aim – the development of international collaboration and the Open Society:

– Yaroslavl Art Museum – the Russian state cultural institution;

– Open Society Institute (Soros Foundation), the American philanthropy institute;

- Hewlett Packard Company, the international industrial company.
